Gedcom - Merge

In order to merge gedcoms, when Importing it into an existing Tree, you need to make sure that Append all records is the option selected in the Replace (in selected tree) section Append imports all records with new IDs. You can then use the People - Merge option to merge the duplicate persons. You may also want to select the following other options Accept data for all new Custom Event Types Import media if present Import latitude / longitude data if present
