Notes

Purpose of the Mod

To make the Admin Users Menu more useful. Adds results table columns (hyperlinked tree & userID, whether profile edits are allowed), and tweaks the column headings.

Compatibility With Other Mods

• This mod conflicts with Admin Users-More, which adds even more data fields to the results table, and does a user-selected multi-fields sort.
• Through at least TNGv10 it was compatible with User Sorting, which lets the user select a single sort key, and with Sort User List, which has a fixed multi-field sort order. But TNGv13 does its own sorting, so that compatibility is (probably) lost.

Requirements

• A working TNG installation.
• A backup of all affected files (see the list in the summary in the upper right corner of the page)
• An installed current version of the Mod Manager.

Installation

1. Download the appropriate zip file as shown in the mod summary in the upper right corner of the page.
2. Extract the file from the downloaded zip file into the mods folder or FTP the extracted file to your mods folder.
3. Follow the normal automated installation for Mod Manager, as shown in the example Mod Manager - Installing Config Files to install the mod.

In the event of a problem

• Try using the Mod Manager Remove capability
• Copy the backup of the affected files back to your TNG directory
• Contact us through the TNG Community Forums.

Uninstalling the mod

If you want to completely Remove (uninstall) this mod and any tables if created, you should

1. click the Uninstall button to uninstall the mod
2. click the Delete button to delete the config file from the mods folder.

TNG 14 added a new privilege in the Users table - Allow Private Media. It also suppresses the Show LDS privilege if you set Admin > Setup > General Settings > Show LDS Data: to Never in the Privacy section

AFTER: The privileges are shown as text. Notes is for the new Allow Private Notes privilege added in TNG 13.1 and Media is for the new Allow Private Media. If users set the Admin > Setup > General Settings > Privacy option for Show LDS Data to Never, the LDS column will be suppressed.
