Purpose of Mod

This mod is intended for those with large numbers of cemeteries, allowing up to six columns compared to the default number of three with the resulting reduced scrolling of the Cemeteries list. An example of the modified Cemeteries display can be seen at https://lisaandroger.com/genealogy/cemeteries.php

This mod was developed by Graham Chamberlain. Thanks to Robin Richmond for help with appropriate syntax. Updated for TNG 15 by Roger Moffat

Requirements

A working TNG installation.
A backup of all affected files (see the list in the summary to the right)
An installed current version of the Mod Manager.

Installation

Uninstall and delete previous version of this mod (if installed)
Download the appropriate zip file as shown in the mod summary in the upper right corner of the page.
Extract the file from the downloaded zip file into the mods folder or FTP the extracted file to your mods folder.
Follow the normal automated installation for Mod Manager, as shown in the example Mod Manager - Installing Config Files to install the mod.

In the event of a problem

Try using the Mod Manager Remove capability.
Copy the backup of the affected files back to your TNG directory.
Retry installing mod.
Contact us through the TNG Community Forums.

Uninstalling the mod

If you want to completely Remove (uninstall) this mod and any tables if created, you should

click the Uninstall button to uninstall the mod
click the Delete button to delete the config file from the mods folder.

Upgrade

Uninstall and eventually Delete the current Mod.
Proceed as for an installation with the new Mod.

Editable Parameters

The following display parameters can be edited in Mod Manager:

the number of columns that you want in the Cemeteries page in NON-Mobile mode. Default is (6).
*The number of columns is fixed at 3 for Mobile mode and maximum of 5 for Tablet mode.
the percentage column width appropriate for the chosen number of columns. The default is (15)
The recommended values are 15 for 6 columns, 18 for 5 columns, 22 for 4 columns, 30 for 3 columns and 45 for 2 columns.
*The percentage column width is fixed at 30 for Mobile mode and 18 for Tablet mode.
the number of rows per column that you want in NON-Mobile mode. The default is (35).
This parameter replaces the setting in Admin > Config > General Settings > Cemeteries.
the number of rows per column that you want in MOBILE mode*. The default is (70).
This parameter replaces the setting in Admin > Config > General Settings > Cemeteries
the number of rows per column that you want in TABLET mode*. The default is (42).
This parameter replaces the setting in Admin > Config > General Settings > Cemeteries
