Requirements

• A working TNG installation.
• A backup of all affected files (see the list in the summary in the upper right corner of the page)
• An installed current version of the Mod Manager.

Conflicts

If you use it, the Same Person Link you must update to v13.0.0.7a to eliminate the install depdendency

TNG Modules Impacted

You can click on the [Expand] link on the right to display the list of TNG Modules change and the [Collapse] link to hide this section again.

The following TNG Modules are modified, and should be backed up prior to installing this mod:

admin_associations.php
ajx_updateorder.php
js/selectutils.js
tngdblib.php

TNG Table impacted

A new field 'ordernum' (float) is added to the 'tng_associations' table.

Installation

1. Uninstall and delete previous version of this mod (if installed)
2. Download the appropriate zip file as shown in the mod summary in the upper right corner of the page.
3. Extract the file from the downloaded zip file into the mods folder or FTP the extracted file to your mods folder.
4. Follow the normal automated installation for Mod Manager, as shown in the example Mod Manager - Installing Config Files to install the mod.
5. Create the new field by clicking on the button in the Mod Manager.

AFTER the installation and BEFORE using the Mod, you must create a new field (button provided in the Mod Manager)

In the event of a problem

• Try using the Mod Manager Remove capability
• Copy the backup of the affected files back to your TNG directory
• Contact us through the TNG Community Forums or on the page of Michel Kirsch. At worst, send a mail to

Uninstalling the mod

If you want to completely Remove (uninstall) this mod you should

1. delete the new field created during the installation (button provided in the Mod Manager)
2. click the Uninstall button to uninstall the mod
3. click the Delete button to delete the config file from the mods folder.

Upgrade

When upgrading to a newer version

• It is NOT necessary to delete the new field. This way, you keep your sort order.
• Uninstall and eventually Delete the current Mod.
• Proceed as for an installation with the new Mod.
