This mod has been folded back into Regroup Person Profile v14, and is thus retired. The only version of this mod that is viable is v13, if you have Regroup Person Profile v13. If you want serif's on your ID's and want ID's displayed for parents, spouses, and children, and don't have Regroup Person Profile, then you should use ID Prefix Format.

Purpose of the Mod

On the Person Profile page (getperson.php), displays person ID's for children, parents, and spouses, and uses a font that distinguishes the "I" from a 1" or a lower case "l".

Compatibility With Other Mods

There are so many small mods that affect the Person Profile that I haven't tested them all against this mod. It is definitely compatible with other mods in the Regroup Person* family. If you encounter a conflict and really want this functionality, please send me a screen shot of the Mod Manager page showing the locations that conflict.

Requirements

• A working TNG installation.
• An installed current version of the Mod Manager.
• You should backup files listed in the panel on the right.

Automated Installation

1. Remove and delete previous version of this mod.
2. Backup the files updated by this mod. They are listed in the panel at the upper right.
3. Download the .zip file, Extract its .cfg file to the mods folder.
4. Follow the normal automated installation for Mod Manager, as shown in the example Mod Manager - Installing Config Files.

Displaying Person IDs with Style Classes

The Person ID's for children, parents, and spouses are displayed by the new function displayOtherID() in personlib.php. That function uses the style classs .rgo-idvalue and .rgo-idletter. This mod puts definitions of both of these style classes in /css/genstyle.css. The classes can be redefined by TNG site administrators who want the ID's to look differently.

If you want to highlight person ID's by using an alternate color, you really should put a style rule defining .idvalue and/or .idletter in your template's mytngstyle.css file, since, if you change your template, colors defined in /css/genstyle.css might not be visible.
