My first computer was a Sinclair ZX Spectrum (1982), a revolutionary machine in those days 😁
During those years, I was in my twenties, I wasn't interested in genealogy at all but as I grew older and "wiser" I got more interested in my roots.
Still, it would take many more years (2006) before I started my genealogy research.
Back then I used Aldfaer, a Dutch desktop genealogy program, which covered most of my needs.
Later on, as I gathered more and more information, I felt the need to share my research with my family members.
So I had to look for an online solution.

TNG seemed to be the best solution so I started using it in 2012 and I'm still using it with great satisfaction.
My first choice for a template was template 9 but after a few years I switched to template 207 and 260 by Genealogy Web Templates (GWT).
Love the excellent support Marsha is giving so I can reccommend you having a look.
