Census Plus International - Issues

The following are currently known issues with the Census Plus International Mod alpha-3 version:

Add Dialog

Currently there is not a good way to delete an improperly created census
Copy the Created ID and paste it in the Census Plus International Delete tab to delete the census records created

Currently it is possible to add an empty line at the bottom of the lines entered which results in the cp_data records getting created but not the cp_base record

Two Census for Same Year

Currently the following will happen if you have 2 different census event for the same year:

only the first event will display the Census Plus transcript if two different census are assigned to the same census event

in the case of the 1850/1860 US Federal Census and US Slave Schedule, you should create a separate Slave Census event

currently the Census Plus transcript display on the Individual page will not display the 2nd census event for the same year

Fixed in alpha-4 version of the mod provided that 2 different census events types are used to link the person to the census

Census Plus Link

The current formatting of the cplinkID.php is not in the same sequence as cpdisplay.php and cpinclude.php
- needs to be updated to format based on Census series and year within US census
the logic changed to allow the Create Summary button is being generated when it should not because of formatting based on years only
- fixed in alpha-5 with the switch based on the format field in cp_base

Update Census Plus

The search in the Update Census Plus tab needs to be changed to order results in a different way than just lineno

Previous / Next ID Links

The Previous ID and Next ID links on cpupdate.php return blank forms

Hard-code English Text

There is still a lot of hard-coded English text used.

Ken is currently working on changing the Add form (admin_cpcreate.php) to use $text variables.

Selected EventID

There is an issue in the changes I made to cpfind2LinkID.php and cplinkID.php in setting selected=\"selected\" whereby after the first entry in the table, the next entries are all set to the last assigneventID in the list.
