Collapsible Items

TNG version: 10.0
TNG V10 allows you to collapse several items on the Individual (getperson.php) page.

Custom Events

Marking events as collapsible

To mark events as collapsible:

  • go to Admin >> Custom Event Types
  • select all the events you want to be collapsible if they have more than one row
  • click the Collapse Selected button

They will them be collapsed initially if they have more than one row.

In TNG V9, you can use the Show/Hide Events mod to accomplish this.

Media

To mark events as collapsible:

  • go to Admin >> Setup
  • select General Settings
  • expand the Media section
  • select Yes in the pull down for Hide personal media

In TNG V9, you can use the Show/Hide Person Media mod to accomplish this.

Source Citations

In TNG V10, the source citations will be collapsed like the Notes section based on the class="notearea" which defaults to 200px

Marking Citations as scrollable

if you set the Scroll citations option in Setup >> General Settings >> in the Miscellaneous section

In TNG V9, you can use the Scroll Person Citations mod to accomplish this.

Events Map

In TNG V10, the Event Map section is now collapsed to the height specified in the Setup >> Map Settings for the Individual page Height, which defaults to 400px.

With the Event Map now providing a scroll bar, it should not be necessary to install the Adjust Map Height Mod mod.

In TNG V9, you can use the Scroll Map events mod to accomplish this.
