Gendex - TNG Network (Importing)

The Post your GENDEX file link will send you to a TNG Network login screen
Once you have created an account, you click the Save button to save the information needed to Import your Gendex file. Then you can click the Import Data button.
To create an account on the TNG Network, you must provide your name, your username, your password, your email address, your web site's home page, the base URL for accessing Individual person pages on your site, and the URL where your gendex file is saved.
The base URL is in the portion common to accessing all Individual person pages on your site and is composed of your site Genealogy URL as shown in your Setup >> Configuration >> General Settings >> Site Design and Specification >> Genealogy URL + the getperson.php?personID= (script name and parameter). For example, http://www.yourdomain.com/genealogy/getperson.php?personID=
The File URL is the location of your gendex file. This is composed of your site Genealogy URL as shown in your Setup >> Configuration >> General Settings >> Site Design and Specification >> Genealogy URL + gendex folder name + gendex file name. For example, http://www.yourdomain.com/genealogy/gendex/gendex.txt
Once you have created an account, you click the Save button to save the information needed to Import your Gendex file. Then you can click the Import Data button.
On subsequent visits to the TNG Network, you will only need to Login and then click the Import Data button.
