Import Using Zip Files

TNG V11 allows you to import your GEDCOM using a zip file.

31.Import: It is now possible to upload and extract a zipped gedcom file for import

You can either:

• Browse and select the zip file on your computer
• FTP the zip file to your GEDCOM folder and select it there

Using Browse

You can use the Browse button to select the zip file on your computer.

TNG will upload the zip file to your GEDCOM folder and extract it there and then delete the zip file.

Using Select

You can FTP the zip file to your GEDCOM folder and then select the file on your host. TNG will extract the .ged file to your GEDCOM folder and then delete the zip file that you FTPed to your GEDCOM folder.
