Typical cause

The typical cause of an overlaid subroot.php file is copying the file from your WampServer to your hosting service web site. The following image shows the error message you might receive if you inadvertently copied the subroot.php file.

Recommended actions

In order to fix this problem, you need to either restore a back up copy of your web site subroot.php file, or edit it with the File Manager in your Control Panel, as shown below:
