Introduction

This mod was developed to enable display of a random image to replace the default fixed image on the home page of those templates that by default display only a single fixed image (templates 4, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14). A separate mod cfg file is provided for each relevant template. The zip file contains two cfg file versions for template 4 as there were changes to the template4/index.php in TNG v10.0.1.

NOTE that template 7, by default, displays both a static and a random photo.

Requirements

• A working TNG installation.
• An installed current version of the Mod Manager

Automated Installation

1. Download the appropriate zip file for your TNG version from the download links in the mod summary area in the upper right.
2. Extract the relevant cfg file for your template from the zip file to your /mod folder.
3. Follow the normal automated installation for Mod Manager, as shown in the example Mod Manager - Installing Config Files to install the chosen cfg file.

Custom Text Additions

It is recommended that you also consider installing the Random Photo Display mod, including the enhancements detailed in the Custom Text Additions section of that mod.

In the event of a problem with your TNG site

1. Try using the Mod Manager Remove capability
2. Or copy your randomphoto.php file to your TNG directory
3. * all should be well now
