Version Note
A Zoom Chart feature was introduced in TNG 13.0.1. The Zoom Chart mod has been retained since it zooms with slightly different function and icons.
IMPORTANT: You must match the mod version to the TNG version or 'cannot install' or other issues could result.
Enables mouse zoom of nine TNG charts with small zoom buttons. Options to disable mouse control in any chart but retain the button zoom control.
Version 14.0.0.0 added the fan and family charts.
Purpose of the Mod
Zoom Charts mod enables TNG 13's Pedigree and Descendant charts. to be zoomed in or out, either by button or mouse wheel. Existing TNG functionality such as dragging, pedigree links, and edit links, is retained. Derived from code discovered by Cathrin Jegersberg.
Zoom Charts Buttons is the same mod except that mouse wheel scrolling is retained and only the buttons can be used to zoom in or out.
Operational Note: Mouse Wheel zooming works best (straight in and out) if the cursor is positioned over a box before clicking the zoom buttons. Otherwise there may be movement of the chart to the right or left.

- A backup of all affected files (see the list in the summary in the upper right corner of the page)
- An installed current version of the Mod Manager.

TNG Modules Impacted
The following TNG files are modified. pedigree.php, descend.php, descendvert.php, verticalchart.php.
Known Issue
The Descendant Vertical Chart : The chart's rightmost box popup may not be visible.

Installation
- Uninstall and delete previous version of this mod (if installed)
- Download the appropriate zip file as shown in the mod summary in the upper right corner of the page.
- Extract the file from the downloaded zip file into the mods folder or FTP the extracted file to your mods folder.
- Follow the normal automated installation for Mod Manager, as shown in the example Mod Manager - Installing Config Files to install the mod.
In the event of a problem
- Try using the Mod Manager Remove capability
- Copy the backup of the affected files back to your TNG directory
- Contact us through the TNG Community Forums.
Uninstalling the mod
If you want to completely Remove (uninstall) this mod and all its tables, you should
- click the Uninstall button to uninstall the mod
- click the Delete button to delete the config file from the mods folder.
Upgrade
- Uninstall and eventually Delete the current Mod.
- Proceed as for an installation with the new Mod.
